Craig Morgan’s 6th studio album THIS OLE BOY hit stores this week and is currently trending as one of the top downloaded country albums on the iTunes chart. The album is continuing to earn rave reviews as Billboard proclaims “Morgan turns in his strongest album since 2006’s “Little Bit of Life,” and Roughstock declares him “…one of the best pure country balladeers of the past 20 years.”
Morgan has celebrated the release with his fans, as he made live and autograph appearances in Dickson, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Atlanta, GA, and Greenville, SC this week.
Here’s what some of the nation’s toughest critics are saying about THIS OLE BOY:
“Morgan exemplifies why country music continues to offer a distinctly likeable worldview.”
“…solid collection that feels like a warm conversation. Craig’s music and voice have always been engaging and accessible, and it’s no different here.”
“ The singer’s standard good ole boy fare has served him well, mounting a string of Top 10 hits; this style clearly finds Craig at his most confident and comfortable.”
Cowboys & Indians:
“Morgan’s voice sounds strong, confident and, most importantly, country to the bone on the new material.”
The project is co-produced with his longtime creative partner Phil O’Donnell. Morgan co-wrote 7 of the 12 songs on the new record.
