The PCG Nashville “Artist Of The Year” award is presented in recognition of extraordinary showmanship, dedication, outstanding progress and achievement; Miss Landrum is the first to receive the annual award.
Hailing from Laurel, Mississippi, Landrum joined PCG Nashville’s artist roster as a talented and determined teenager. She quickly excelled in the customized development program and has since been featured on two nationally released compilation albums among other achievements.
Samantha Landrum celebrated her vocal appearance with the release ofTeddy Gentry’s BEST NEW NASHVILLE compilation album (an exclusive offering from Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®, produced by Gentry of the country music super group Alabama) in May 2011.
At the close of 2011, Landrum was honored to participate in the acclaimed album project LET US IN—NASHVILLE (A Tribute to Linda McCartney) benefiting The Women and Cancer Fund in memory of Linda McCartney.

She made her debut appearance at the historic Ryman Auditorium as part of the album launch celebration. (November 2011)
“With two national releases already to her credit, Samantha Landrum has demonstrated without question her talents, abilities and commitment to becoming a career artist.” said PCG Nashville President & Founder, Bernard Porter. “Samantha has made a lasting and life-long impression on music industry execs as well as the listening audience that will enable her to become a trademarked entertainer for years to come. Samantha’s inclusion on these projects was a deserved reward for her admirable work ethic and undeniable skills. She is a gleaming example of the qualities we strive to instill in all of our clients at PCG Nashville.”
Kicking off 2012, Samantha accepted the personal invitation to perform at the Governor’s Inaugural Ball held in her home state at the Jackson Convention Center in Jackson, MS for the newly elected governor of Mississippi, Phil Bryant. Landrum won the hearts of all in attendance with her infectious smile, humble spirit and moving performance of her original music and the “by-request” rendition of Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings” as Gov. Bryant danced with Mississippi’s first lady, Deborah Bryant.
Landrum is currently in the studio with producer Dennis D’Amico recording her debut EP, which will include Landrum originals as well as material penned by some of Nashville’s notable song crafters.
